Announcement of the death of Linda Hart (2026)

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Hart, the co-founder of WDSG-UK in the year 2000, who died at home this morning (8th July) after a short illness.

Linda was a much respected and popular member of the Group, who helped many patients along their Wilson’s journey. A patient herself of Dr John Walshe, Linda was diagnosed with Wilson’s disease back in 1964. An inspiration to all, she had a great sense of humour, a zest for life and was somebody who could put a positive slant on any situation. She will leave a huge void within the Group.
