WDSG-UK relies wholly on subscriptions, donations and fundraising to carry out its work, support patients and sponsor research.  It was granted charitable status by HMRC in 2010 under the heading of Community and Amateur Sports Clubs (CASC) and through this it is able to claim Gift Aid back on donations, where appropriate.

For those wishing to continue supporting us in this way, WDSG-UK is pleased to announce that as from 2025 GoodHub (formerly InvestMyCommunity) has kindly agreed to offer us a similar service, whereby income from regular donations and one-off fundraising events can continue to be collected on our behalf.  Scan the QR code or follow the Visit the GoodHub button to visit our new fundraising platform with God Hub .
